Hello stranger,

my name is Sofie,

thank you for being here, so I can tell you a bit about how I started giving old silverwear a second life.

It all started around February 2024, while strolling through markets in Berlin, where I found a Mexican artisan upcycling old cutlery into all types of jewellery. I was in awe thanks to my love for upcycling and sustainability in general.

While working in a sustainably focused NGO, I haven't felt fulfiled, therefore shortly after visiting Berlin, I quit my job and started working in a café in Scout Institute in Prague, which also had a crafty studio - and that is where first spoonringz were made.

Gifted to my friends and family at first and sold a couple months later at Vitamin Brno, thanks to my best friend Anet, who took me along with her upcycled clothing brand.

It has been almost a year since then and it hasn't been long since i made this passion of mine a full-time job.

Living this dream wouldn't be possible without all of you, that are loving to wear your difference in the form of spoonringz.
